CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2017
WOMEN AT WORK, THEN AND NOW...
International Women's Day 2017 is a time for celebrating the achievements of women far and wide. It is also a time to come together and discuss the importance of how we can all play a part in creating a more inclusive, gender equal world.
We believe that when work cultures are inclusive and free of discrimination, we are all able to reach our full potential and be fully engaged at work. So whether you're male, female or non-binary, it's time to #BeBoldForChange and tackle gender-based discrimination head on.
According to the World Economic Forum, the gender gap won't close entirely until 2186. That is, unless we all take action. The campaign asks us all to commit to one of five following actions:
- Challenge bias and inequality
- Campaign against violence
- Forge women's development
- Celebrate women's achievements
- Champion women's education.
It's down to us to make it happen.
Our infographic celebrates some important dates in women's history, and highlights where there's still room for improvement.
